The feeling of completion.

The last month was quite a ride on my personal little art journey. Self-doubt crept in more than I’d like to admit. I tried new art techniques. I broke out art supplies I had not touched in months, maybe even years. I let my studio get really really messy. I met deadlines. I worked on art daily. I acknowledged my weaknesses and areas I need to improve in. Yes, I have weaknesses! I learned so much in Make Art that Sells that it will take several more months for me to put it all into practice. It was just what I needed at this point in my life when I want to make art my career and I know it.  Thanks for following along on my journey. Every like is a bit of encouragement, and every comment feels like a hug. So here is my work for week 5, for the the gift market. We were to create art for zipper pouches. This was so fun. I hope you can tell by the work!

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in Colorado and I get to plant my garden and love on my plants! Have a great weekend!
